Why are black garlic cloves better than capsules or extract?

Black garlic not only impresses with its unique taste but even more so with its unique micronutrients. The S-Allyl Cysteine content is particularly noteworthy.

We request these values from manufacturers before listing. We were surprised to find that black garlic extract usually contains only 0.4 mg of S-allylcysteine per capsule, whereas vita7's black garlic contains about 20 mg per clove, which is 50 times more S-allylcysteine than a capsule.

In addition, the fermented cloves contain other phytochemicals that the extract does not. Therefore, from our point of view, black garlic is clearly preferable to the extract.
